In April 2004, Steamworks Bayfield opened its doors to the thirsty and hungry community of Bayfield, Colorado. The expansion increased our brewing capacity threefold, and included a mechanized bottling line, a canning line and another 125 seats for dining. Not to mention allowed us to offer our beers beyond La Plata County to all of Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona and soon, Texas.

Once called “the nicest barn in Bayfield” Steamworks Brewing Company’s sister pub is a nice break from the “big city” life in nearby Durango. Pickups fill the parking lot and neighbors who know each other’s kids by name fill the pub. Bayfield also features great food, fresh beer and nightly specials.

At Steamworks, great beer and drink specials are a given. So too is a menu packed with great smoked meats and killer pizzas.

Monday – $8 pitchers

Tuesday – Folks tend to get after it pretty early in Bayfield. We celebrate 2 for 1’s on Tuesdays from 3-6 p.m. so you can get after it and get to bed.

Wednesday – On Wolverine Wednesdays, we play host to year-round fundraisers for Bayfield High. Each quarter, we choose a scholastic club to highlight and 3% of net sales every Wednesday is donated to their efforts. Come in, have a great meal – and go Wolverines!

Thursday – “Pint Nights” (the same rules apply as at our Durango Brewpub). Buy a glass and get way cheap refills every time you bring in that logo pint for every Thursday to come.

Friday – Get you a chance to win a keg from 3-6 p.m.
